We're Cascade Lavender, We're the Pearson Family
Gardening was always a passion, and one of Terry’s favorite plants was Lavender. After spending some time researching this amazing plant's properties, we were both hooked and knew we wanted to have a lavender farm.
Our goal was to settle in Central Oregon to be closer to our beautiful grandchildren and fortunately, lavender grows well here. Looking for that "perfect" place was a challenge.... and then we located this picturesque spot near Lake Billy Chinook with spectacular Cascade views. This was it - climate, soil, views and terrific neighbors!
After many long hours of installing a drip irrigation system and pond, building a barn and greenhouse, selecting and planting a variety of English and French lavender plants; today the result is a beautiful lavender farm which we enjoy sharing with others. Come, visit and enjoy the incredible fragrance and beautiful lavender surrounded by a panorama featuring Mt. Jefferson, the Three Sisters and other prominent peaks in the Cascade Range.
The farm has approximately 5000 plants and 24 different cultivars available for U-pick. Additionally, there are other varieties in the demonstration gardens. We are constantly adding to our collection. We distill and market the oil which is organically grown without the use of chemicals or pesticides. We also sell hydrosol, dried lavender and buds along with other aromatherapy products. A large variety of lavender plants are available for purchase in the summer.
